[yes! it's a one-room cabin, and the light source isn't visible; let's go through it by wall.

wall one has the barred doorway. in the wall around the door are three indents: they are shaped like a stylized cat, a stylized bird, and a stylized snake.

wall two has a counter with three drawers and two cabinets, all closed right now. hung above the counter is a framed photo of a humanoid statue with a pleased expression.

wall three has a closed window that looks out on the back of the house, a white couch with two red pillows on it, and a table with a plate of birdseed on it.

wall four has another counter with two cabinets. one of the cabinets has a keyhole, and a photograph of the stern humanoid statue tacked to it. there is also a framed photo hanging above this counter, of one of the scared humanoids.

all the statues in the photos are missing their gems.]

[one of the cabinets is locked. the other cabinet holds a flat, stylized copper cat. two of the drawers are empty; the bottommost one holds a shaker full of pepper.]

it's not very helpfully communicative, but it's not setting your head on fire either.]

[Taps the plate of bird seed, then moves to look out the window.]

there's a humanoid statue just under the window outside, but you can't really make out its details from this angle.]

[Taking a fistful of birdseed since the bird doesn't want it and pocketing it, then trying to fit the stylized copper cat into the stylized cat indent.]

[behind the one taped to the cabinet is just cabinet door.

behind the other two are slightly sunken areas with seven colorless gems embedded in the wall like so:

the window is locked and unbreakable.]

[if you touch a gem once, it turns red. touch it again and it turns blue. touch it again and it turns yellow. a fourth time and it's colourless again.]
