Dark stone makes up the walls of this small cool room, and they tremble faintly as if afflicted with some terrible noise or nearby conflict.

Well, I'd like to go with the hawk, but...

The hawk!

What happened?! [FLAPPING ANGRILY]

Well, I'd guess we get turned into something based on our choice there... I assume if we chose the lion we'd turn into a kitten, and if we chose the wolf, we'd turn into a pomeranian or something.

[ The book suddenly breaks free of the stone; it is now made of paper and cloth binding. Only one page shows any words, however. ]

So, should we go with the book again, or try a rose this time? Do we want to risk finding out what the rose does, or just stick with riddles?

I think we got the first one right, so why not stick with it? We make a good team, it seems.

Looks like we didn't give them the answer they wanted... I still think it applies, though.
