Apple's Heart

Your arrival is marked by the feel of sand under your feet, with the sound and smell of the ocean wafting in from behind you. A dampness hangs in the air and the sky is overcast. Directly in front of you the sand fades into a grassy hill, on top of which a white castle rests. To the left, a little ways off, you can see tall sandstone cliffs. Off to the right is a large field of sunflowers that stretches out into the distance. There are no paths or signs anywhere to be seen.

He puts the book down and heads back into the grand foyer.

It’s a small study, with a desk, a few chairs, and a bookshelf. Papers and are piled on top of the desk neatly, and a window to the left shows a nice view of a greenhouse. There is a door on the opposite side of the room. No one is here.

It is a small nap room. The light is on and the bed looks like it’s never been slept in.

The prince follows you in. "No, not here, she's always in the study."

"Maybe she's hiding." He goes back into the study and starts looking around.

You see the greenhouse. He follows your look and huffs. "She's not there, it's too late in the day! That's for mornings. If she's not here then she's upstairs."
