Rolo's Heart
Tick, tick, tick, tick.
You fall through space breathlessly, airlessly, your heart skipping a beat. When you land, everything is black for a moment before you rise and see who is with you and where you are...

Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
The other automaton laughs giddily. "Haha, do you like me?"
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
"I believe in you!" the broken automaton says. "You can fix me! That's great!"
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Please.

"I believe in you," the other automaton tells you.
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
[caaarefully trying to take the broken automaton from Fear]
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
The other automaton falls into your arms.
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
I don't want to watch you destroy yourself either.
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
...Can we go back upstairs? Are there parts to fix you there?
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Okay... ah... which parts need replacing the most?
[looks him over]
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
He laughs again. "Broken things get repaired here or destroyed." Its single eye moves from the workbenches to the pile of broken automatons.
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
[Well that's disturbing. Let's embrace the creepy status effect and go harvest the missing parts :')]
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
There are also tools etc on one of the workbenches.
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
This won't hurt you, right?
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
[trying to install a joint first :|a]
Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Everything in there looks bent and damaged. You'll have to remove the broken joint gears and slide new ones in. It is a slow and painful process, the edges just sharp enough and firmly enough attached to hurt your fingers as you work at it.

Re: DOWNSTAIRS: The basement
Its casing is still damaged and its eye is still missing. Is there anything you want to do for this?
