GM - Tiger's Eye

The room is like any other room, really—a cabin with a door, and windows, and beds. But the fireplace never gets warm, and the beds are hard, and the air is cold.

(Is it familiar, this place? It's hard to tell . . .)

On the table there is food—water, and dry bread, and there is a pot of stew that always stays warm, and full, and smells delicious.

There are also five cards, waiting for your decision.

I don't really remember that fairy tale, but considering it is equivalent to major blood loss...

[... just a look here.]

Just... this isn't the last round. Don't take on too much if you don't have to.

One of us will have to take it on. And I can cope with dancing.

Dancing enough to seriously injure yourself?

...

Do I have to put your world on the list of people I need to yell at? Because I don't think performers can sustain serious injuries every time they want to do a stage show, even before you account for being shot at.

[Don't yell at my people I love them]

No! AKB0048 is fine, the people we work with do nothing but support us. They don't let us go on stage if we injure ourselves too much, when girls get shot or injured they're made to rest. But even if we get injured in concert, we have to finish the performance our fans came to see.

They're a good team. Everyone supports each other. So you don't have to worry.

I'm usually more worried about adults who handle a team than a team itself, thanks to my own bad experiences.

...I'm sorry, if they hurt you. But our manager, and our teachers and the staff, they all care about us. They're the ones that pull us out when it gets too dangerous.

[My manager tells me off for saying things like 'I'll fight even if I die' because I'm not respecting my life enough, we're good]

Good. That's what a good manager should be doing. Sometimes when you're on the front lines, you're too close to see when the best thing to do is retreat and come back.
