*checking out that land, I guess?*

[ This tiny island floats just off the side of the railing, tethered there by a delicate chain and anchor. Only the size of a regular pillow, its edges seem thinner than its center as if it were slowly reaching outward toward the space around it. On it are three small saplings: one tied down severely and thus half withered, the second more robust though a stake and ties lay next to it, and a third smaller one of a pale green complexion. ]

[ There is a toy bucket with seeds nearby, a trowel, and an empty watering can. ]

[floating the glider out carefully to dock beside it]

[and reaching out to pet the tied-down sapling very gently, careful not to knock any brown leaves off]

...should we give this one a breather and then boost the whole island?

[ There is a very brief and faint flash of a rose. ]

Josh, I...think this is for Maleficent. So that one's probably yours... [gently touching the second sapling]

[...wait why is there a green one. p-petting that too I suppose]

[ The second sapling is a brief but clear scent of orange. ]

[ The third one is --hrnnng life sucks don't want to discuss it and flopping on a certain blond because he damn well can and it's okay-- ]

Yeah, we'd better just boost the island. I don't really want to mess with anything specific...

I...I don't know? Maybe just as weird as me being kind of stupidly happy at the idea of you and Edmund...

[and then finding a spot between the saplings, roughly equidistant if possible, and gently planting his boost-seed]

[ The seed sinks easily into the plot, the earth covering it as if it were never there. ]

[ And then the whole of the island shakes. ]

[...w-whoa...]

[p...petting it soothingly]

[ It rrrumbles and then grows, its edges winding outwards and growing deeper, putting more space between the withered sapling and the other two saplings. The dirt itself darkens with richness. ]

[ Then with an almost audible sigh, it settles. It has almost doubled in size. ]
