[ A raven sitting on the commander's shoulder hesitates, then clears its throat when the commander gestures impatiently. ]

[ In a throaty hoarse voice. ] Guilt has entered the battlefield with an army heading straight for here. Forgiveness is being carried here through an alternative route. The White Witch is attempting to invade the center of here.

[ The commander interrupts here. ] We march out against Guilt immediately to staunch her progression. If she invades the Cair she will join with the Witch.

You're meeting them in the field? Are they planning on laying siege -- do they have engines with them?

Sir, would this help you and your army?

[holding up a boost]

[ The commander flicks his eyes down to it, then looks back at him seriously. ]

We can buy more time with it.

Okay, what's our objective? What are you buying time for?

[ Well Mithos sure did just arrive. ]

Sort out whatever is going on here and meet us out there when you find a solution to dealing with Guilt. Buying time is all we're good for with her.

[ He sure does sound bitter about that, but turns and calls out orders as the army marches out. ]

*...nods, reluctant*

[ As if that explains everything. ]

[high-jumping and gliding over to hand him the boost]

[ He takes the boost, breathing in deeply as it sank in and shaking the awkward out of his hand. But then he nods back firmly and turns on his heel because it's time for battle!!! ]

[ Army is moving out. ]

*one last question, called over the army*

Can you wield Forgiveness?

[ He looks back, his expression hard and flat and shakes his head once. ]

Then good hunting, and we'll work it out.

*rrreally wishing he had just a few more skills back, but his part will come later*
