[ This young dark-haired woman in a dress, chainmail, and armed with a bow and arrows blows a horn as soon as she emerges from the shattered sword tapestry. The walls of the castle reverberate with the sound and creatures of all ghastly types begin to fill in the room and pour out the front doors. ]
[ All of them are armed and ready, filing themselves in formation under her watch. ]
[ She turns to look at you, calm and serious and sad all at once, and opens her mouth to speak, her voice echoing with Penance's voice intertwined with it. ]
What I am meant to do.
[ Because out of the tapestry of a woman comes a woman, unnaturally tall, and wielding a wand. ]
Like hell it is; that's just giving in! The point of penance isn't to punish yourself forever for messing up! The point of guilt isn't to drag the rest of the heart down into a pit! It's fine to feel bad for leaving your sis behind, but how could you have known how it'd all turn out? Why can't you make up for it by living your life now that you've gotten again; by living it now as fully and well as you know how, now -- knowing better? If you think she'd want you to do this to yourself at any point that's not fair to you or her! You can remember her and move on, too!
Penance, Guilt, whatever -- Edmund, you're being a moron and I know you can do better than this! Stop!
[ The whole army goes silent as Guilt stares at your outstretched hands in bewilderment. Her features soften and for a brief moment you see Penance instead as she reaches out her hand-- ]
[ --and then quickly snatches it back as she turns and heads out with the army, her head held high with determination. ]
[ In her place, where she stood with her hand outstretched is a far different ghostly figure who quickly turns and assesses the situation. ]
Be glad, yes it is but it's your fault, of course I'm not, and yes it is, now let's move! We need to pin Guilt down with it before we can get to the White Witch.
UPDATE: ARMY

I consume all things. That is how it must be.

Damn it, this wasn't supposed to happen!
Re: UPDATE: ARMY
Damn right it wasn't, so how do we stop 'em now?
Re: UPDATE: ARMY
Do you have any idea how hard it is to make another of us let alone-- oh nevermind. Can you pick up Forgiveness?

*walking back toward the tapestries already FOLLOW ME . . . ME*
