This room has been quiet for some time. I thought to get some things done while that remained the case. The cold is natural, however.

Maintenance. Renovation. Things have been changing. Some of the old requires updating or removal. There is some controversy about that.

[ The slow steady scrape of the sharpening stone continues. ]

[ He pauses and shoots a funny look at you. ] No. But this castle is my residence, and thus its maintenance is my responsibility. The question of necessity over the confidentiality of certain topics and habits is the issue.

Would it help if you were more solid? Whether Ed wants to keep secrets or not, it's gotta be hard keeping a place like this in shape if you're all ghosty.

[ He stops all motion completely and utterly. ]

I cannot always work, else I become Guilt. My time to work is nearing, however.

[ He nods past you, where the once ghostly visions of hags, wolves, and the like picking up weapons becomes more solid. ]

Seriously, though -- can't you use the help? There's nothing wrong with not working alone; getting help from outside too, not just memories.

My work need not be burdened on more shoulders.

[ He tilts his head and slows his motions. ]
