[ A hand suddenly claps over your mouth and you're bodily dragged into the building. ]

[ whoops, dragged back. b-being very careful not to struggle because god knows he doesn't want to mess up Ed's heart. ]

You're the one calling me willy-nilly in the middle of the night.

[ A low quiet hiss, but at least it's familiar. You're dragged further until you're pulled behind yet another door inside the building, and then let go easily enough. ]

[ He shoots you a look, though this one is dressed in more familiar period clothes that look vaguely uncomfortable and not quite suited to him. ]

What are you doing wandering around calling out random names? Don't you know what's going to happen?

[ rubs the back of his neck ]

I just know this wasn't a pleasant memory for him, and I'd like to help.

[ In the distance, a siren begins to wail. ]

[ He almost growls, but gestures urgently as he pulls out a flashlight and starts heading off deeper into the building. ]

Not about the attack, no. But there are other things.

[ His tone is impatient and stubbornly disbelieving. He stops near the back and pulls back a rug, revealing a trap door in the floor. ]

[ His eyes flick up to you quickly before he busies himself with opening the trap door. ]

[ He shakes his head at the offer and shoves the trap door back, kicking down a ladder. ]

[ opens his mouth to say something else. Then closes it, moving for the opening. ]

As long as you're coming with me.

[ He gestures in a hurrying motion, rolling his eyes. ]

[ down he goes ]

[ He follows down soon after, pulling the trap door closed behind them. And then the flashlight comes on. ]
