You find yourself in a beautiful red room, the edges of each wall adorned with real gold accents. At the center of the room is a long table, several chairs on either side of it, perfect for very serious conferences. In the middle of the table is a plate of strawberry jam tarts atop it, one per teammate present.
In the corner of the room is a hole in the ground, only large enough for a small animal to fit through. Next to it is a flat iron bar, curled at its tip, where a golden bell has been hung from it.
Finally, on one wall is a large poster which reads (or you find read aloud to you, if you cannot read):
An apple a day keeps the Doctor away.
Apple in the morning -- Doctor's warning.
Roast apple at night -- starves the Doctor outright.
Eat an apple going to bed -- knock the Doctor on the head
Three each day, seven days a week -- ruddy apple, ruddy cheek

inquiries
Re: inquiries
Pray pardon-- could you ask the her Highness if there are any more details to this case? Some of the circumstances seem rather vague, which makes it terribly difficult to judge what actually transpired and therefore what verdict to assign.

first case
DEFENDANT: the Patient
DETAILS: While the Patient's efforts originally began as admirable -- minimizing visits to the Doctor to reduce their medical expenses -- the Patient's behavior soon grew obsessive and dangerous. The Patient first began stalking the Doctor at a distance. Later the Patient sent him letters, warning him to see no patients other than the Patient. The Patient then captured the Doctor and locked him in the Patient's basement, starving him but taunting him with fruit. The Patient later attempted to murder the Doctor, but unknowingly failed. The Patient was later caught when he left his house with a "ruddy cheek," or with blood on his face.
PROPOSED SENTENCE: Execution
Re: first case
I am afraid I do not follow the logical jump from the first statement to what follows. I fear we are missing a bit of information.

Re: verdict
second case
DEFENDANT: the Doctor
DETAILS: The Doctor was once an admirable figure in the medical community, however, he slowly fell to depravity. He soon began to seduce his patients in order to charge more and more for his services. The hardest hit of the Doctor's schemes was the Patient, who reportedly became obsessed with the Doctor and became bankrupt after having fallen "madly in love" (in the Patient's own words) with the Doctor. The Doctor's affair with the Patient continued outside the office, and their calling cards for each other were apples: however, the Doctor would not accept the Patient's apples unless money had been hidden inside them.
