[as you start your trek up the mountain, the movement at least seems to be helping you keep a little warm. The path is steady, heading up and around the mountain.

The further you go, the colder it gets, though - or is that just your imagination?

As you near the top, you see a figure there - a soldier from the looks of his clothing, wearing a helmet. Blond hair pops out from underneath it.

He spots you and immediately snaps a nervous salute. "S-Sir!"

. . . he pauses, looks at Lark. "Uh. Ma'am?"]

*f-f-freezing...pauses, though*

Um. Yes. Hello?

Hello . . . [he relaxes just a bit]

Hello. I'm Lark and I'm on a mission a-a-and it's really cold. Can you help me?

A mission? Yeah, um, that's what I'm here for. What can I help you with?

[As he talks, he looks around] I don't think we have any extra supplies with us.

Th-there weren't any in the first room, b-but we can find something. . .I don't know what I'm s-supposed to do here, really.

[Cloud looks behind him - there's a building in the distance, not too far from where they are]

If it's for a mission, then it might be . . .

...I think I'm supposed to go in there, then...is it very dangerous out here?

[it's rundown inside as well! There's a broken fountain and stairs that lead upstairs.

There are also monsters, here. They growl when they see Lark and Cloud, but don't seem like they're going to attack just yet]

*hops down, but sticks close to Cloud! let's check the broken fountain.*

[it once was something beautiful and made of what's possibly white marble, but now it's just in ruins, water trickling here and there and frozen in pools]
