Peridot

[ You step into a wooden room that smells of the sea; stand still long enough and you’ll notice the room is rocking very faintly. A round table sits in the middle of the room with wooden chairs lining the edges. At the back of the room sits two large, locked treasure chests, to the side an open closet. Inside are PIRATE CLOTHES, captain hats, bandannas, FAKE HOOKS, and the like.. A piece of paper lays on the table, along with an ink well and a feather pen. The door locks behind you as you enter; looking out the porthole now reveals an endless sea. ]

Every good pirate has two things: pirate clothes and a good ship! I know lots about ships, so I made it really easy for you to make one too. Pick from these parts and then we’ll set sail for treasure! Remember that pirates are really fast or really strong or both, so your pirate ship should be like that too. I left some clothes for you to wear too; real pirates wear clothes like that. Are you going to be a real pirate?

I guess it depends on what you mean by maxing. I think something really fast would be good.

Medium ship, three masts, a few cannons, heavy wood, and medium crew!

Cassie: hat and maybe a hook
Beatrice: hook and caaaaape!
Ven: FULL PIRATE GEAR, big leather boots, striped trousers, vest, fancy jacket, bling, hat

[ The door swings open, revealing the deck of your chosen pirate ship, complete with a pirate flag and sails in your team’s colors. In the distance, there’s a small island. On the deck below you are ACTUAL PIRATES who probably smell funny and look grimy and... stuff. They seem eager to get to work though. In place of a wheel on deck is a panel with four levers on it, labeled ATTACK!, DEFEND!, STEAL!, and SAIL AWAY!. In the sea around you, you can see the ships of the other teams floating by. Look up though and you’ll see Peter Pan flying by, yelling out to the teams below. ]

Pirates get lots of their treasure from other pirates, so everyone has to do the same! Whoever gets the most treasure is the best pirate! You can attack and steal, or defend or sail away, but you’ll never get any treasure like that!

You’ve got real pirates on your ship too, and pirates work a lot better if you talk to them like one. That’s only if you’re a real pirate though.

Weigh anchor! All ships set sail!
