Peridot

[ You step into a wooden room that smells of the sea; stand still long enough and you’ll notice the room is rocking very faintly. A round table sits in the middle of the room with wooden chairs lining the edges. At the back of the room sits two large, locked treasure chests, to the side an open closet. Inside are PIRATE CLOTHES, captain hats, bandannas, FAKE HOOKS, and the like.. A piece of paper lays on the table, along with an ink well and a feather pen. The door locks behind you as you enter; looking out the porthole now reveals an endless sea. ]

Do you think we should steal from some small fry instead? I'm not sure the size of their boat has anything to do with the size of their treasure.

I don't think it does, no...more a question of speed. Like I don't think we could catch Citrine.

It's too bad Ruby seems to have us beat on speed...

Possibly...though they are shorter on masts.

Though it's doubtful other teams are fleeing this early anyway.

Probably not. Though speed might have something to do with whether we can catch them to board them, even if they aren't fleeing. Hard to tell.

We may as well find out. Though, after that spectacle. Other teams may not target Carnelian, thinking it will be a repeat. At the very least, we did get aboard Sapphire's ship.

So you believe Carnelian is a good option because it is so obvious as to be a deterrent...?

Catching them should be easy, yeah. The only difference is the bigger crew, but maybe we'll sneak in either way.

Hmmm, that is true as well...

My vote is for Carnelian.

And if we do get in there, we can sail away next round with their treasure, and they won't be able to catch us to get it back.

[eyeing their huge rowdy crew]

It...might be a bit risky, but it could work. Though some of the small ships might go for us now too.

...Hah. I am fine with stealing from Carnelian! Very well. Of course, we will sail away with our successes.
