"Yes." He sounds merry, and starts to tinker around the clock shop.

"I don't understand what you're asking me."

Usually one hopes for something...

"My job is just powering that! That hope. When something is wanted. Make it believable. To be believed in." He laughs.

Ah. If you work with Want, maybe you should keep him company upstairs...

"Where I work?"

If I'm understanding correctly.

"Whoever I'm with, I'll always try to work!"

All right. Would you like to go upstairs, then?

"I'll go wherever I am to go." He waits. You may need to lead him if you want him to go anywhere.

[takes his hand! LET'S UPSTAIRSING, I assume Rabi will be amenable.]

Hope looks around with interest.

Meanwhile, Want dropbears on you (and Rabi). "You came back!"

Yes; I brought company for you, if you would like?

He pets your hair and eyes Hope with interest. "Yes... of course..."

He's been treated badly before, so you will need to take care of him...

"Treated badly?"

It looks as if he's been broken up a bit. Perhaps he just needs looking after.

"You're giving him to me?"

You will do your best to take care of him, right?

"I want him. I won't let him get taken."
