"He just works here. He's probably saying he needs to be wound when he's still more or less managing. He can wait longer."

Would it hurt to wind him up anyway?

"I guess not, but why should I put myself out for him...?"

[considers, then shrugs]

"I guess that's fine, then." He nods.

Thanks. What do I have to do?

"The clockwork key's kept in the far parts of the Right Wing. I keep the door key on that table." He points to the table.

[looks at the table, nods]

Alright. I'll bring it back when I'm done, okay? Thanks again.

"Okay." He reaches for your shoulder.

[lets him]

He trails fingertips over it, needily.

"Nothing..."

"I just want you to stay with me."
