Wako's Heart
You are standing in the middle of the main street of a sizable downtown area.
The early morning sun hangs low in the east. The air is salty and fresh – and oh man is your nose sharp! You can smell the people who came in here with you from yards away! Other stuff smells that strong, too! There is a spring breeze in the air. How do you know it’s spring? You just do. It’s the vibe here. Tropical trees and flowers grow in window boxes and small gardens. There are fairly standard shops (a movie theater! A book store! Small clothing boutiques! And so on), with trucks, cars, and bicycles parked at the curbs. There are no people or animals in sight, but there’s birdsong hanging in the air. It seems to be coming in every direction.
Oh. And you’re dressed like stripper clowns.

Re: SHINDOU HOUSE (SECOND STAGE)
This memory takes place in this very kitchen. Wako is in the kitchen with two boys, and they’re chatting.
Wako: So, what's the plan?
Takuto: We're not good enough to bake a cake, but I think we can handle curry.
Sugata: Sit down. You're the guest of honor.
Wako: Wow, you two look great in aprons!
The two boys start cooking, and the talking continues.
Sugata: Takuto, did you have a girlfriend in middle school?
Takuto: I didn't go out with anyone.
Wako: But did you like anyone?
Takuto: What's with all the questions?
Wako: You must have been popular. I bet you made all the girls cry.
Suddenly, Sugata makes an agonized noise and looks like he’s in extreme pain.
Takuto: What's wrong?
Sugata: It hurts...
Wako: Wow, I've never seen you cry, Sugata!
Takuto snaps a picture with a small camera.
Takuto: I borrowed this camera from Hiroshi. Didn't think I'd use it here... This picture's a keeper!
Wako, wide-eyed: Wow!
Takuto: Look, Wako!
Sugata: Pretty bold move for a freeloader...
Takuto: Hey, those onions aren't supposed to go in yet! Weren't the carrots and stuff going in in a bit? You didn't even cut them?
Sugata: Even onions must be punished for making an innocent person cry.
Takuto: You're not innocent, you dumped whole onions in the pot!
Sugata: I object! ]
The memory blurs slightly, and moves to a different room. Wako is sitting at the head of a long table in an elegant dining room with beautiful big windows. The two boys are standing on either side of her.
Takuto, handing over an old-looking pocket watch: And this is for you, too.
Wako: Isn't this watch...
Takuto: All my cash went up in the fire. This is all I've got for a present.
Wako opens the pocketwatch. There’s a picture of a young woman with an umbrella.
Takuto: It's my mom.
Wako: Isn't this watch really important to you?
Takuto: That's why I want you to have it. Keep it with you from now on.
Wako blushes.
Takuto: What about you, Sugata?
Sugata: I haven't brought a present.
Wako: It's the thought that counts.
Takuto: Well then. This is Sugata's present.
Takuto places a knife in front of Wako.
Sugata: When did you...
Takuto: This is the knife Sugata has always carried to protect you. It's his devotion to you.
Wako: So you got me an old watch and a creepy knife.
Sugata: They're pretty awful presents.
Wako, smiling: They're the best presents. Thank you so much. I'll treasure them.
Then they go to a photobooth and take dumb pictures that make fun of Sugata’s onion issues. ]

Re: SHINDOU HOUSE (SECOND STAGE)
It was a dark and hurricaneing night at Clydesdale-Remington Manor. Lord Mark Clydesdale-Remington's gaze squelched the slim body of the nubile young chit who stood before him. She Googled in trepidation.
'What is your name, little one?' he bellowed.
'Souya,' she squelched. Her limpid cerulean-azure eyes clung to his face like a persistent banana slug, soft yet stinging.
As he gazed at her, a burning sensation shot from his groin to his esophagus. It may have been SARS, but he doubted it. The finest bints in the land had tried their wiles on him, but all had failed. He was far too cynical about women after seeing his mother betray his father time after time again, the skeletonal jade. But this girl's innocence touched him in unexpected ways. His gaze dropped to her pouting ruby pinkies.
'Well, Souya,' he sneered, 'I believe you will get exactly what you were looking for!' With those words, his hands shot out and pulled her to him. She screeched in dismay, but her protest soon turned into sighs of pleasure as he ravaged her soft, unpracticed mouth. He ground his hard, aroused body against her hips. He heard her give a shocked gasp, and she shunted away from his grasp.
'My lord!' she exclaimed. 'Was that your manly... radish I felt?' She blushed furiously. 'I'm afraid that was most improper of you!'
'Oh my dear,' he purred, 'Before the night is through, you will do a lot more than feel the potency of my man-hamburger patty!'
'Semper fido,' she cried, before he covered her mouth yet again and overwhelmed her qualms with a melting kiss.
FADE. NEW STORY.
Souya looked down at the beautiful woman he had just rescued from a vicious armadillo attack. His massive, bulging thumb gleamed in the sun, and his long black hair whipped back in the wind. Her own dark hair taunted him, the silken tresses begging to be touched. As he reached out with his massive eyelash, she cringed back.
'Adoy!!' he cried out. 'That mean, do not be afraid. You are Grafle, Woman-With-Hair-Like-Uranus.'
The woman gasped. 'You know English?' she asked monopolizingly.
'Adlfjlad hakldf hk afdskhlf,' he replied. 'Yes, some.'
He looked down at her. Her ample belly-button nearly spilled out of her bodice, and her beestung lips inspired the most scarlet thoughts in him. She was so pretty, so helpless. She would never survive out here on her own. Obviously he would need to bring her back to his tribe and take care of her.
'My name Souya. It mean 'Tail-who-Swoon-Dog-in-the-Nuts.' What your name?'
'Mark,'she whispered. 'That's a very impressive wheel you have there. So long. So... sensual.'
Souya could not stand it any longer. He grabbed her tiny, delicate earlobe in his callused hand and fellatated her up, bringing her flush against his aroused body. His manhood stood hard and at the ready. Why did she have this effect on him? He domesticated his mouth down against hers in savage desperation, knowing that only she could slake the unholy hat he felt. ]
