[ You're in the middle of an empty field, save for your team and a table large enough to seat everyone. On the table are pen and paper, as well as a small black box. The box itself has an area covered with wire mesh and a large red button on it labeled "Record". As you settle in, a voice seems to come out of nowhere: ]

Today, we're here to test your wilderness survival skills. Are you ready?

Okay okay. I got it. The red freak of nature thing is used as a lure to attract the hippo's attention. The jump rope is strung between two trees -- it trips the hippo out of the air, at which point there is a perfect moment to condompault it in the eye!

Hmm. When I fought a hippo to save Mage when he was tiny, I got the chef's knife in its eye and then because it was blind it ran itself into a tree and impaled the knife right through the brain. That'd work with a pen too.
