[ Inside, rather than a lobby of any kind, you're met with a long, dark hallway. There's a door at the end of the hall—this one isn't open. ]

[going to try and open it, looking back every now and then for Drake]

[ The door opens easily! You find yourself standing in what looks like a girl’s dorm room. How cute! Everything is very neat, very un-Brianna-like, honestly. There are no toys or games or stuffed animals to be seen, no pictures on the walls. Just a desk with several drawers, and some plastic containers under the bed. ]

[cautiously poking at a drawer, opening it to see if anything is inside]

[ One of the drawers has a letter inside. The other has what looks like dozens of pictures, all ripped apart. ]

[pulling out the letter, glancing at the door to make sure Drake is not following. heart logic, who knows how it works!!]

[ Drake is nowhere to be seen!

The letter says: "Meet at the usual place. Don't be late. Remember, you can't tell your parents anything about what's been going on. Never forget: we're your family now, not them." ]

Where's the usual place...?

[digging through the pictures]

[ The pictures are all ripped up, but they seem to be family photos. ]

[checking another drawer to see if there's anything else]

[ Nothing else of note seems to be inside the drawers! The top section of the desk has dusty school books, supplies, and what seems to be some kind of diary. ]

[.............I don't have enough of a death wish to check Brianna's diary]

[GOING FOR THE PLASTIC CONTAINERS instead]

[ Inside the containers are stuffed animals, board games, video games, all kinds of fun stuff! Too bad it's all packed away. ]

[pulls it out and leaves it on the bed :|a]

[ Now the container of awesome stuff is sitting on the bed. ]

[COOL. I did good. nodding to himself before scooting back out of the room]

[ Where to now? ]

[is there anything else inside? otherwise he'll try to go out the front]

[ Nothing else seems to be inside. Outside the school, a car is idling. ]

[looking around for Drake like a skittish rabbit before going out to the car, checking to see if the door is open]

[ The door is indeed open. As soon as you touch the car, a memory hits you:

Your mom is dropping you off at the front of the building, giving you a kiss on the forehead. You don't understand why you have to live here, now. Why can't you just keep living at home? It's like she's getting rid of you... ]

...Parents are jerks anyways.

[hopping into the car and looking around]

[ There's nothing special about the car, but it is running. You could drive it somewhere, I guess. ]

[yes, that is the idea. buckling in and attempting to drive it to Peridido Beach]
