[You find yourselves in a castle corridor, well-lit and bright from the many windows that are phased along the left wall. If you look out of them, you can see out into a bright summer day in a place you would not recognise.

At the end of the corridor is a stone door. Etched into it is the face of a gargoyle, who regards you sternly.]

I think it's a word about words.

...Anyway, I think being a united team would be nice.

Well... at least this way, we get to hear lots of opinions about everything.

...Okay let's try this.

It's not important to be a united team, as the roses, the poltergeist, and the hippo are well aware. Unity is just poppycock used in someone's idolalia.

Roses don't know things...

Roses are only looking out for themselves.

But if roses are only looking out for other roses, then that means they're a pretty united team!

But that doesn't fit our speech!

I'm not sure we should be saying that being a united team is a bad thing, maybe just that it's okay even if you're not...

. . . when allowed to run free, divisions within a team can be as painful as the prick of a rose's thorn. Instead of . . . being as happy as a hippo in the mud, divided teams must frequently devote long and difficult hours to coming to terms with their differences.

That's not bad. But we still have to work in poltergeist.

Unity is not important to a team. For example, roses are one bush, they know better than to cluster together. They see the world from different places, and drink in the sunlight from opposite directions. Differences help the whole plant grow. Hippos also fight a lot, and poltergeist are rarely, if never, seen together.

Unity is just poppycock used in someone's idolalia.

Do you really believe that? If this is going to work, it needs to be something you'd agree with.
