Laid out in front of you is a pile of fluff! If you poke it, prod it, nudge it, or smash it, you’ll find that it keeps it shape.

You can hear the muffled voice of the Velveteen Rabbit, speaking much more clearly now:

“If you could have any animal in the world (or any world, I s-suppose) as a friend, what would it be?”

I do too, yes. I was thinking about using dragons or some kind of bird, though. After all, it's kind of our naming theme, isn't it?

The fluff clumps together into the shape of a dragon, and swatches of Iolite fabric wrap itself around the fluff. Be careful though, there’s a needle darting around and sewing up all the seams.

You are now looking at a stuffed Iolite dragon that is now just your size! (...Was there even that much fluff in the first place…?)

The Velveteen Rabbit speaks again;

“Your friend is almost ready now! But...What sort of friend is your friend? What is it about them that you like? What kind of things do they do?”

Our friend lives in a forest surrounded by mountains. He's the protector of the forest, and the bounties of nature allow him to live comfortably. He treats all things within the forest with respect, and does his best to help anyone and anything that's troubled inside. When he's not busy helping people, he's investigating new breeds of plants and flowers, to make his forest more diverse and beautiful for his true treasure is the land itself.

We like him for his kind heart and inquisitive mind, which constantly searches for new ways to make the forest more and more wonderful.

RESULT

Before anything happens, the Velveteen Rabbit stammers out: "O-Oh wait. I just realized I used t-the wrong magic." Suddenly, your dragon reshapes itself into the long, snake-like shape you originally gave it before. "T-There. I hope t-that's better...!"

After that...Small cardboard cutouts of trees, expertly colored in crayon, start to pop up all around you! Your dragon is then given an Iolite and Sterling flower crown as well as several flower necklaces and silver wire bracelets with an ivy design. It starts to slither around the 'trees', and as it pops out behind one you see a curious yet pleasant expression sewn onto its face.

Now that your new friend is all dressed and personality-ified, there’s one thing left to do!

“That should be good. Where are you going to take your friend, and what kind of adventures will you have?”

Aside from flying across the skies and seeing what there is to find, we can go on lots of adventures with Shinkencho (which is what we've named him.) We'll explore strange environments, wander through mysterious jungles, and search through the deepest caves to find rare plants and animals. The plants will even have multiple uses! Shinkencho can grow them in his forest, but the plants can also have medicinal purposes, helping people find new cures to diseases! There's nowhere Shinkencho can't explore with his friends at his side -- or on his back. He can go anywhere!

RESULT

Little cardboard clouds drop down, though fortunately they're tied to the ceiling and stop a fair distance above the 'trees'. Bright green fuzzy pipe-cleaners bend around the 'trees' and branch out to hang from the tops as 'vines. A small piece of paper written in crayon tapes it to the edge of one the children's beds, with the words DEEP CAVE and an arrow pointing down to where the blanket just barely hangs above the floor.

Shinkencho slithers under the bed where the 'Deep Cave' is, and if you follow, you'll see paper-machete herbs and flowers grow, lit only with the dim glow of light behind you.

If you focus, you can continue to play with Shinkencho, gathering herbs and flowers that feel more and more real as time passes. Eventually though, you remember you're just playing a game and everything begins to fade away...
