You're in a small grove of trees off the side of the road. Somehow, their thick leaves muffle all sound from beyond, leaving only faint whispers and echoes at the fringe of your hearing.

As before, the latest scroll has a short message on it, similar to the one you wrote earlier...but not quite. It seems to be another team's message, but somehow jumbled and distorted. It will be your task to try to ascertain what it was originally.

This time, the scroll is a bit more tattered than before. Is that dried blood staining its edges?

MESSAGE

Beloved of them:
Even if all the features
It can not be done, which thou shalt do.
And so, I want to show -
The darkness:
To be vicious, they think. In this example
How shameful it is to believe the loss of this evil.

So it seems. I am no lyricist, to piece this back together well; but it appears to be an appeal against the Darkness and warn against overconfidence.

It cannot be done, what thou shalt do does not sound as though it need be changed, but the rest does not match it. What say you: shall we attempt this, or shall we abandon the form and seek to rescue the heart of the message?

We can try to get to the heart of it... knowing Aather it's probably something that's trying to redeem the darkness.

I do not believe so. How shameful it is to believe the loss of this evil. Though some may believe the Darkness redeemed or driven back, it is there, and it is a threat to all of us should we let down our guards.
