You're right, though. Sometimes it's not enough. That's why when it happens you need to work even harder.

If you just say "it'll work out if I do my best", then that's stupid. It can't happen if you don't have the power to make it happen.

But saying "I'll fail for sure" before even trying ... that means you won't be able to find out what you can do.
