Solstice Heart

Entering into the heart, you feel a strong sense of resistance pushing you away. It’s easy enough to overcome if you push back, but it soon reverses and you’re pulled into an unfamiliar mansion.

[It contains what looks like a page torn out of a book (she may recognize it as being from the Aather book she looked at in the library), though it's all information on Kaitou Kid. There's a picture and general description of him and what he does, etc.]

[Real name Kuroba Kaito. Inherited the role of Kaitou Kid after learning of his father’s murder. Seeks Pandora to keep it out of the hands of his father’s killers. There is a possibility that the ones seeking Pandora and the Organization are related.]

[Let's pick up the Organization one.]

[Real name unknown; referred to as The Organization or The Black Organization due to the black outfits its members wear. Highly dangerous and potentially extensive underground crime syndicate. Developed the drug APTX 4869 for unknown reasons. Possibly after immortality as well.]

Hmm, still not a lot.

[We're going down the list of files now. Gin and Vodka.]

[Rather than text, this folder simply contains two photographs. One is of two darkly dressed men standing over Solstice’s prone body, his head dripping blood. The second is of the two men in what looks like a dark subway alongside a wall of storage lockers.]

[Closes her eyes, closing the folder. She's seen the other memory already. Just....breathe for a moment and set it aside.]

[Murdered the previous Kaitou Kid. Could be a part of the Organization or a related group. Seeks immortality, specifically the jewel Pandora fabled to grant it.]

[Hmmm.]

[Yep, down that goes. Akemi.]

[There’s not much in here. Just a note that says: Alias: Hirota Masami. Involved with the Organization. Real name unknown. Assassinated by Gin and Vodka. Sister of Miyano Shiho/Haibara Ai/Sherry.]

[The feeling of being watched is growing stronger, and it's starting to feel malicious. . .]

[Well, Sherry is clearly the next name to look up.]

[Not reacting to the feeling. She's aware of what she can do. She's listening for anything getting close, but otherwise, there's more important hings than possible paranoia.]

[Secondary alias: Haibara Ai. Real name Miyano Shiho. Developed APTX 4869. Refused to continue her work after the death of her sister. Took the drug to escape, was also shrunk. Currently lying low under the protection of Professor Agasa and myself.]

[Looks at the last file.]

[Then she shrugs and hops off the table. Not hard to guess what the file is gonna say.]

[As she does that, there's a shuffling sound nearby, but still in the darkness. Or maybe that was just your imagination...]

[Yeah, betting it's not her imagination.]

[Wait.]

[Where did the others go.]

[Damn.]

Idiots, where did they.... [Can I see the blood that Solstice was leaking, can I follow it.]

[You can see it where the lamp illuminates the floor, but that only goes so far. You can try to head in that direction, though.]

[Let me guess, it goes in the direction of shuffling feet.]

[Either way, it's the way I'm going and time to test a thing.]

[Putting up a spell, spell of 'I am no one important, don't pay attention to me.' The less important she started out with, the better the spell will work.]

[That spell might have worked, if it wasn't a little late. Seeing as she may suddenly find something cold and hard pressed against the back of her head before she can venture too far into the darkness. She should recognize the voice as Gin's.]
