Erika heart

You get the sense that you pass through a door, but it shuts immediately behind you. However, when you look back, there is nothing but a dead end wall behind you. There is carpet is lush beneath your feet, and the corners are free of dust. Except for the lack of any actual entrance, it could easily be the entranceway of a lavish mansion.

Any magical or otherwise supernatural abilities you have are disabled.

This appears to be a bedroom. There is a large bed and a wardrobe. The room is decorated warmly, lamps and upholstery in bright colors. There are picture frames on the wall, but they're all empty.

Erika is suspended from a ceiling light by a bedsheet looped around her neck, and a chair is overturned on the floor beside her. She's very likely dead.

There is a cast-iron frying pan on the floor.

...Oh no Erika's dead.

Oh no. Well, we did ask for the dead body.

*memorizing the position of the chair, before putting it upright and standing on it to examine her more closely*

It's meant to look like a suicide, if it's a murder.

[crouches to examine the cast iron frying pan]

It's a very heavy frying pan. There is a little bit of blood on the edge of it.

[calling over] looks like she was hit with this.

[gets up and goes to examine the wardrobe]

Yes, in the back of the head. There's blood -- haha, this setup!

I'll see if a culprit is hiding in here or something.

Her face is blue, and she certainly appears to have died of suffocation. However, if you look closely, you can see that some of the hair at the back of her head is matted with blood.

Hmmm?

*can she get a better look at the source of the blood without cutting Erika down, or is the rope in the way*

Mostly her hair is in the way.

*yeah okay. hefts the corpse, taking a knife and sawing through the rope*

You successfully cut through the bedsheet and the body falls into your arms.

Yep. In room H, there's a corpse with her throat slit and knives stabbed into her eyes. That's why we wanted the kit.

[looking at her ... ...]

Hey, we should all fingerprint ourselves so we can compare back, too. Do you mind?

[shrugs] Alright, sure.

[gonna get her fingerprints, and his own while he's at it]

What do you think of a frying pan murder? The other is overkill but at least it seems normal...

It's a bit unrefined, but it obviously worked. The weird part is that they set it up to look like a suicide.

Room H! Her throat was slit to the bone and knives were stabbed into each of her eyes. A bit of a different flavor from this scene. [and takes the kit] Much obliged~.

This mystery is a little . . . hmm, it's hard to stomach when all the corpses and presumably the culprit are the same person!

I wonder if fingerprinting will even be helpful...
