Erika heart

You get the sense that you pass through a door, but it shuts immediately behind you. However, when you look back, there is nothing but a dead end wall behind you. There is carpet is lush beneath your feet, and the corners are free of dust. Except for the lack of any actual entrance, it could easily be the entranceway of a lavish mansion.

Any magical or otherwise supernatural abilities you have are disabled.

Her face is blue, and she certainly appears to have died of suffocation. However, if you look closely, you can see that some of the hair at the back of her head is matted with blood.

Hmmm?

*can she get a better look at the source of the blood without cutting Erika down, or is the rope in the way*

Mostly her hair is in the way.

*yeah okay. hefts the corpse, taking a knife and sawing through the rope*

You successfully cut through the bedsheet and the body falls into your arms.

*SWOOOON -- okay no. loosening the rope, laying the body facedown on the floor to get the hair out of the way*

There appears to be a gash at the back of her head like she was hit with a heavy frying pan.

It has fingerprints on it! Which you lift off onto plastic for later comparison.

They don't appear to match.

It appears to have come from the bed itself.

Those prints match.
