Taisuke's heart

There's something humming inside of you, a strange new power etches itself into your heart, something you can't quite sense what it is but can feel it's importance. An endless sea of stars stretches before you, shining brightly, but despite the beauty of the scene there's a yearning deep in your gut. You need to go, you need more, you need to move. The stairs are old, the metal is rusted and feels unsteady beneath your feet. Haphazardly dotted along the walls as you descend are rows of televisions, they're buzzing with static and it's impossible to make out what's going on, though if you stare long enough you might just make out a newscaster...

The stairs creak under you, unstable and rickety yet never giving out. You hear the dripping of water as you come to the bottom of the steps, but a wall of fire blocks the doorway. On the wall away from the flames is a hole in the shape of a hand print.
