Tsukihiko's Heart

You enter the heart and immediately find yourself drowning. The salt of the water stings your eyes and your throat. You're about 20 feet underwater, legs tangled in seaweed, and of course, you can't breathe like that. Even if you can hold your breath, here come the snakes -- winding around you, tangling, sliding up your body and pressing their faces against your mouth, your nose... eventually they force their way in and slide down your throat. You can feel them wiggling all the way down, coiling in your belly...

Abruptly, you can breathe underwater.

The seaweed draws you down, down, to a new area...

Theyyyy look like parts of Tsukihiko.

Not really. They make... an incomplete body...

If you're trying to jigsaw them together, you'll hear something rattle around in the skull.

[yes, after a minute, trying to put them together.

and examining that skull, then. are there any . . . openings . . . .]

Nope... well, besides the usual ones. The rattling seems to be coming from within the 'brain' area, though.

Honestly? Probably not.

[putting it down in a vaguely proper place for a head, and then looking around him thoughtfully]

Did you come straight here from the first room?

[shakes his head]

I looked in the left room first. There was a pool with a girl, and she gave me some directions, but ...

[shrugs and looks around]

At least this part seems to match up.

A girl? What did she say?

From here, our options are apparently--

[pointing right] "The pretty hate machine,"
[pointing left] "the toy room," and
[pointing to the trapdoor that goes further down] "his desires."

You're the teammate, though, so I'd rather defer to what you prefer.

[giving him a cautious look]

[shrugging a little]

"More issues," if I'm following what she said right. She was a little ... inebriated, let's say.

Really . . . .

[--and hesitates a moment, before dropping one of the boost seeds here, in the middle of the bodyparts pile]

She was very nice, but I'd take her advice with a grain or three of salt.

It sticks into the body parts and takes root there.

I wasn't planning on doing otherwise.

[and tugging up the trapdoor--]
