There is cauldron in the center over your area. The walls are tinged in your team's colors, but besides the cauldron, it's bare.

The water in the cauldron is glowing faintly.

Then, Nimue speaks, and as she speaks, the cauldron begins to reflect her vision.

"There lies a kingdom in ruin... Through no fault of its own. All of its inhabitants dead, or lost to the world. Though it lies in ruin, you can see the the faint remnants of the beauty it once contained."

A pause, her voice sounds fainter now.

"Heroes... you have choices that we do not. How... would you use them...?"

"The kingdom was once a great kingdom, filled with loyal subjects, and guarded by a fair king and his chivalrous knights."

The cauldron begins to reflect this, rewinding in time.

"However, there is a traitor in their midst, who seeks to destroy them. How would you prevent this?"

Find the traitor.

[kill him. but not saying that juuuust yet.]

That would be the obvious first step. But was there only one?

I figure we go step by step to minimize complications.

"How?"

Ask him? Set a test...?

Like what?

They're supposedly in a group. What test could we conduct would single out the traitor?

Give each of them a staged opportunity to kill the king. See who takes it. Set precautions so none of them can actually do it.

Wait, wait... if it has magic, isn't there a way to find out the traitor in the first place that way?

So in other words, he would know how to block any spell to find him.

... I guess that means something like he knows how to conceal himself, huh... if he's that smart, then he probably won't take a blatant 'opportunity' to kill the king either. Can you confirm that?

"No, his plans are much more subtle... And involve the destruction of the kingdom."

So he wouldn't move until his plans were ready?

Was he greatly trusted? [Guy sounds like my type of traitor.]

"Yes."

You and Mordred would probably get along Grate.
