Ruby + Sapphire

Through the doors, you find yourselves in a small circular room that seems to be decorated much in the same way as the ring is decorated today. The curtains are in alternating colors of your teams, and in the center stand are three surprisingly lifelike, but faceless sculptures. They stand with their backs to one another, facing out to the chairs. About each of their necks is a cord that holds a sign written in a fine, looping cursive.

We'll have to mind our manners.

We had a plan last time. We can simply use it again.

Something that lies within our power, she says ... so let's just say their community service will have to be helping us and Ruby with chores.

[...chuckles.]

That's one approach.

Espionage helps with the dusting and the heavy-duty cleaning of the cabins, because spiders are tricky bastards.

Attempted murder helps cleaning up the kitchen after I'm done with it.

Attempted assault and torture has to take Sapphire for her morning walks for a week.

I think that should be sufficiently severe enough.

There are other card games, too. They're pretty fun, once you get the hang of 'em.

...What should we do if she decides that the punishments must be...more severe?

... then they play me five rounds of poker. Whether or not they know the rules. If they lose, then they have to do those chores; that's what I'd bet.
