CARNELIAN
You can see the other teams, but there is an invisible barrier preventing you from hearing them. You can assume that they can't hear you, either. There is a hefty serving of sweet wine and liquor, should you choose it. With a loaf of bread that you can slice. Nimue is in the center of the formation of teams, and when she speaks, you can hear her loud and clear.
"Storytelling has been a tradition of the knights of Camelot for some time. They would tell of the awesome feats of their king, and of their fellow knights... and... they were also prone to exaggeration in some cases."
There appears a small set of cards next to the liquor. You can read them, or you can implicitly understand them if you can't read.
"What feats have the heroes of Aather accomplished, I wonder? And what... exaggerations they may take? Before you, you will find prompts for your tales. You will write one for yourselves, for a set of knights, and for another team. I will select the most inspiring, as will your peers."
She tilts her head. "Ah, perhaps it is bad to encourage grandstanding..."
But before you can ask her, she vanishes.

"Once upon a time, there was a hero named Alena who traveled Aather looking for food to bring to her team. When out of the darkness came a sudden flash: a knife! A dangerous assassin stalked her!
Alena jumped back, but it was too late. The knife tore right through her adventurer's cape, ruining it forever. Swearing revenge, she sought out the guidance of the mythical persona to provide her with the strength to beat the assassin. The persona agreed to help Alena if she solved a series of difficult nursery rhymes with her team.
She failed, but eventually she was given a game that she could win, and she got the skill necessary to find the assassin, overpower him, and defeat him!"
How's that sound so far?

Sapphire at least is pretty straight-forward, they like food, maybe they just can't stop eating and regret it. A story with a moral on greediness!

I could see that.

YOUR TEAM'S STORY...
Re: YOUR TEAM'S STORY...
The only place to get healing stones was on an island in the middle of a lake. Though it was far, she swam out to the island and searched all over until she found a stone. When she picked it up and thought it was safe to relax, one last obstacle appeared. She heard a dark voice remark: 'Good work... I will take that stone for myself!' A vicious assassin, with a knife had appeared and reached out to attack her and steal the stone she had worked so hard to get!
The assassin made one bold slash, rending Alena's prized adventuring cape, which was a perfect shade of blue to match the Carnelian orange. It had carried her through many adventures and hearing it rip at the hands of a knife held by an assassin was too much for Alena. She boldly leaped forward with a strong punch that connected with the assassin's jaw and sent him flying!
Knowing he was beat, the assassin pleaded for mercy. Alena had only one question: why? Why should she have been so attacked? The assassin admitted he was hired by another team to find a healing stone, but he only knew how to be an assassin, so he waited for someone else to steal from. Alena took pity and to show she was generous lent the stone to him if he promised to return it to Carnelian later. Though to pay him back for hurting her cape, she bent the knife until it was ruined and threw it in the lake, forcing the assassin to cease assassinating forever.
Their teams were healed and they lived happily... for now.
YOUR KNIGHT'S STORY...
Re: YOUR KNIGHT'S STORY...
The three of them were friends—good knights who didn't have a problem getting along ever! And over time, they developed feelings. But it wasn't for each other. It was hard for them because they could tell that the other one had the same problem until one day they all blurted it out:
"We like Lloyd!" And after a pause: "No, we love him!"
Mithos was the most awkward about it. After all, Lloyd was his best friend. They did lots in Aather together. They even befriended Three, the sometimes scary persona (though she's less scary when you get to know her). He didn't want Lloyd to feel obligated to return his feelings.
Serah and Estelle weren't as close, and they felt if anyone had a claim on Lloyd, it was Mithos. But Mithos didn't want them to think that way.
So, they made a pact: though their hearts would never forget Lloyd, they needed to not trouble him with their feelings.
As time went on, it turned out more and more people couldn't resist Lloyd, but everyone had a singular understanding: he needed to keep being the best knight he could be. They couldn't trouble him. From time to time, they could slip up, but ... feelings could never be involved.
But then, there was a secrets game. Ah, who would ever think that the same secret would be shared so many times in a game? No one even knew who it belonged to!
Baffled, Lloyd told everyone they were stupid for keeping it from him! He looked at all of them and said that by doing it, they were also denying their feelings for each other. The fact that they respected each other so much was a sign. He didn't really think about what he was saying, but everyone playing the game looked at each other in surprise ... and back to him.
It wasn't long before everyone in Aather learned to love one another and never hide their secrets, because it was better to love openly.
And they got to love Lloyd, too. After all, he inspired it in the first place.
ANOTHER TEAM'S STORY...
Re: ANOTHER TEAM'S STORY...
Unfortunately for them, they will soon learn the price for their greed. As everyone came to the game, dismayed to find all the food gone... the personae noticed how her plans for feeding everyone had been messed up. And this wasn't any personae... this was the personae in charge of food! Ms. Cake!
Since her game was going to revolve around food anyway, she reassured the rest of the heroes and knights. But Sapphire... well, if they were so hungry, they might as well eat the rest left-overs she had from cooking! The gross left-overs.
Long story short, she force-fed them too spicy curries and greasy eggs dishes, and stuff that even tasted like soap! They were so sick by the time the game actually started, that not only could they not play and not get any memories, but they thoroughly learned their lesson about being too greedy!
The end!
