KUNZITE

Friendly, laid-back, kind. They enjoy tea. While outwardly polite and cheerful, even childish, they display a certain awareness of themselves and others which distinguishes them from the naively carefree.

The description goes on for a couple sentences, but the author doesn't seem to know a whole lot about Kunzite . . . at the bottom are short descriptions of yourself, Meadow, and a little bit about Shes.

Jasper has nine, one for each past and current member save Swift plus one for the team as a whole . . . although, curiously, Erika's seems to be missing. Do you read?

The team scroll is a description of Jasper's general play style and strategy, as well as common traits and team-wide habits. It paints a picture of a team that's half individualists and half children, which has a strong game strategy but doesn't always stick to it, which is fundamentally a bit broken, its actual "team feeling" being sort of held together by spit, determination, and a now-absent Eve.

There are very short descriptions of each member at the bottom, with a note to see ind. at the bottom.

Coming to the end of the path, you see a tall iron gate, with a basket of blank scrolls hanging from it. The gate's closed, with no latch or lock, but there's a small circular recess jutting out at about the height where one would normally be. You could put something in it, maybe.

The scrolls are very blank! There's also a bunch of pens mixed in, and a matchbox . . . .

[after thinking for a moment, laughs and draws a flame on one of the scrolls, rolls it up, and sees if it could fit in the recess...]

It doesn't fit at all! It's too large and shallow for the scroll to balance upright, and too small for you to put it in lengthwise.

[oh well! after inspecting the recess for a bit longer, puts the scroll back in with the blank ones, grabs the matchbox and pen to keep in case, then goes to get the Kunzite latern and try that]

There's a sudden spark--the lantern flares before your eyes, brightly enough that you might have to look away--you hear a soft click.

When you look back at the gate, you'll find it's swung open.
