You find yourself in a beautiful red room, the edges of each wall adorned with real gold accents. At the center of the room is a long table, several chairs on either side of it, perfect for very serious conferences. In the middle of the table is a plate of strawberry jam tarts atop it, one per teammate present.
In the corner of the room is a hole in the ground, only large enough for a small animal to fit through. Next to it is a flat iron bar, curled at its tip, where a golden bell has been hung from it.
Finally, on one wall is a large poster which reads (or you find read aloud to you, if you cannot read):
"Will you walk into my parlour?" said the Spider to the Fly,
"’Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy,
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I’ve got many curious things to show when you are there."
"Oh, no, no," said the little Fly, "to ask me is in vain,
For whoever goes up your winding stair can ne’er come down again."

the rabbit looks at you expectantly.]
Re: inquiries
Which is presiding? Do you mean his ruined kingdom, assuming that its legal system is contiguous with its previous incarnation before it became a vassal-state? Or the court judged by the invading princess?

first case
DEFENDANT: The Fly
DETAILS: The prince of a faraway kingdom, the Fly was a handsome man whose parents planned for him to befriend the princesses other kingdoms as a form of temporary alliance. This was, of course, temporary, until his parents could choose which of the several princesses to marry. All of them he befriended and visited freely, except one, whom was rumored to be of bad character. The slighted princess became enraged, and thus had war waged against the Fly's kingdom, and it was subsequently crushed.

Re: verdict
second case
DEFENDANT: The Spider
DETAILS: The princess of a faraway kingdom, the Spider was a beautiful woman who had considerable influence in her kingdom, more than the King himself. Known as the Bloody Princess for the rumors surrounding her, instead of levying tax, she would have each individual village and town send one young man to her monthly, where they would disappear into her castle. The princes she became fond of, too, would also have a tendency to disappear. However, she seemed especially obstinate about the attention of the Fly, and his affections were necessary for establishing trade between their kingdoms, for her own was dwindling thanks to several food shortages and droughts. She later chose to invigorate the economy through war, and proceeded to crush the Fly's kingdom, successfully revitalizing it and gaining a multitude of new resources.

Re: second case
Oh, someone is trying to be clever. During their romantic evening together he should have full power of attorney over her. That'd solve things neatly ♥
