second case

On the table you find another paper, though it most certainly wasn't there before. It reads, or is read to you:

DEFENDANT: The Spider
DETAILS: The princess of a faraway kingdom, the Spider was a beautiful woman who had considerable influence in her kingdom, more than the King himself. Known as the Bloody Princess for the rumors surrounding her, instead of levying tax, she would have each individual village and town send one young man to her monthly, where they would disappear into her castle. The princes she became fond of, too, would also have a tendency to disappear. However, she seemed especially obstinate about the attention of the Fly, and his affections were necessary for establishing trade between their kingdoms, for her own was dwindling thanks to several food shortages and droughts. She later chose to invigorate the economy through war, and proceeded to crush the Fly's kingdom, successfully revitalizing it and gaining a multitude of new resources.
PROPOSED SENTENCE: Execution
