You find yourself in a large church whose walls arch up to the ceiling and are lost in dimness, and whose main source of light comes from the sun streaming through stained-glass windows. The primary image is of two angels bowing to two faceless humans. The rest is surrounded by vines flowering with lotus blossoms and birds in flight.
Service does not appear to be in session, but there are a few people seated amidst the pews. None of them seem to notice you.
((Starting point for Madoka, Seth, Mikado, Saya, Emil, Jay))
You find yourself in a neat, sparsely-furnished room: there is a bed, a desk, and two walls that are completely covered in rows and rows of closed drawers of different sizes.
Displayed in a prominent place of honor on the desk is a beautiful smiling woman with pale blonde hair and a marked resemblance to the knight on Sterling. There is also book marked with a [modified cross] and a small, kind of crudely-made stuffed ... thing ... is it a rabbit? Is it a cat? It's hard to tell.
((Starting point for Teito, Mikage, C.C., and Dragonfly))
The double doors are heavy, but open with a low steady creak. Outside the sun is shining and a fine garden is revealed. There are tall oak trees forming a sort of living gate around the perimeter and a bubbling fountain in the center, with two gaps that lead down forested and shaded paths. Off to the side a group of children are playing some sort of ring-around-the-middle game.
The path starts off relatively easy, but begins to become more overgrown as you progress; the neat shrubs become slowly more cluttered and crowded, reaching out into the path, though they never completely block the path. While the sun is shining, it is more subdued, gently overcast.
You arrive in front of a large impressive mansion that spreads as far as the eye can see. There are neat rows of flowering shrubs -- of the sort that have been seen in both Beauty's Forest and Three's Cove. The farther away they are from the mansion, the more brightly and varied they are colored; the closer to the mansion you get, the more they fade. The rows that butt up against the walls themselves are pure white.
The path is rocky and a bit steep slanting uphill. There is some undergrowth that is creeping out onto the the path, but there are swatches here and there where there is just blank emptiness. There is a feeling of something incomplete.
Ahead is a small open gazebo set up in the middle of the path; you'll have to cross through it in order to continue on. Inside is a boy with short blonde hair and a tremendous pout, glaring over a chess board (the pieces are cloaked reaper-like figures) at a small fluffy pink winged thing, who seems more interested in chewing on the pieces instead.
There are two buildings at the end of the path: one large and fancy, ridiculously overdone and opulent; this is a house built to show and tell, made of creamy marble and polished granite, with topiary animals and a grand fountain fountain.
Off to its side, nearly hidden in the shadow of its bulk, is a smaller building -- not small precisely, but maybe about the size of an Aather cabin.
Inside of a white room with a single window looking towards a cloudless blue sky, a very young boy -- no older than eleven years old -- sits looking out.
