((Important OOC Note: HOW TEMPERATURE WORKS
Each area of the heart has a temperature applied to it. This "temperature" is essentially a status effect that acts on the emotions. I'll give the details of each emotional status effect in the writeup for that area. Generally I'll give the percentage amount that it's changed, ie, "10-30% (effect)". The reason I'll give a range here is to give you leeway to play with what's comfortable for you while still maintaining the effect. However, a general guide is below:

Warm to hot - Players feel an increased sense of agitation, uncertainty, and general lack of security. All other feelings are normal.
Moderate (normal/default) - No effect. Players feel their emotion as normal.
Cool to cold - Players feel an overall decrease in emotional reaction. Severe lack of affect is in the area.

Players are of course permitted, if you think your character would, to realize their current emotions are under some kind of influence.))

I meant it-- about not letting you wander off. If you're going to make threats on Gust's safety then I'll protect him first, but Breeze is right that you can't act like we're the unreasonable ones when you're making threats in his heart.

I'm not asking you to care about Gust, or Turquoise; I know you don't, and you shouldn't really, because we've really never met. Just please understand that he's important to us, and having someone we don't know -- someone who doesn't care like we do -- wandering around in here seems dangerous. Even if you're not trying to hurt him, you might do it on accident.

About Vincent-- that's what makes him dangerous, right? If he doesn't care about something then it's meaningless? But even so... even if it doesn't matter to you, it matters to someone...

[releasing her transformation again, though this time she summons up a gem and looks at it critically to see how dark it's gotten]

That's already figured out. And we should move on quickly, since Aggravation seems to think you guys should leave.

[takes out some duct tape and holds out her hand for the keycard pieces]

[Well the room is... still falling apart so...]

I'm fine with leaving. It's dangerous here, anyway.

[looks to Breeze for confirmation that handing the keycard(s) over is okay?]

. . . Just hand it back to Tsunami when it's in one piece again. I'd feel safer with a teammate holding it while it's that fragile.

[hands it over to Erika, then]

[patches it back together with a piece of duct tape, not covering the magnetic strip, then hands it back and starts walking back towards the elevator]
