You find yourselves in a well acquainted parlor while the storm rages on outside. Mother's voice resounds from somewhere unseen.

"Dear Mother will be with you in a moment, my children. But until then, please do try to become well acquainted with one another."

[You'll find a small dance card tucked into the pocket of your outfit. It has on it a description of your role. Please refer to the DP journal for a post locked to your team with the contents of your card.]

No, no, I'm quite alright. I'm just uh . . . I'm just getting used to the new surrounding.

[glancing at those heels, because you look like you're going to fall over in them]

Are you doing well?

I'm enjoying a pleasant distraction, so I am. And you?

[smiles a bit]

If you are enjoying yourself then I am happy.

I can't say that it doesn't . . .

Well, I'd expect no less of our hostess and her famed hospitality. I'm sure she wouldn't want to skimp when it comes to entertaining her guests.

Oh, but I hope she doesn't go through too much trouble with setting everything up. It really is quite alright.

I'm sure she simply considers it part of her duty. But it certainly is kind of you to think of her.
