A story, then . . .

One involving a creature and a hero...I assume a conflict would be involved.

I suppose it will depend upon what matter of creature we're provided with.

Mhm...A werewolf at dawn. I suppose that's our answer.

Dawn is when it returns to human form, isn't it? Perhaps . . . a hero was called upon to rescue an isolated village from the threat of a werewolf and so this hero lured the werewolf out. A chase ensued, the hero ran from the werewolf to draw it away, and at dawn it returned to its human form so the hero could reason with it.

It's also possible that the werewolf was never a threat to begin with. It may have simply had the desire to protect the village, but when the people saw it on patrol outside they gave into panic...

The werewolf would be easy to reason with, if that was the case.

If that were the case the werewolf would likely think the hero a threat. Though if their desires resided in the same place I'm sure they would be able to find a resolution without issue.

A happy ending, with a moral about the folly of making assumptions.

It'll be a good story.

It seems so.

Hmm...I like Selenia's story. Where the werewolf is just trying to protect the village. Do we only have to write the end, since that's what the persona said?

It seems so. Perhaps we could simply write from the point that the sun rises? Where the werewolf and the hero resolve their differences in how they wish to protect the village and reach an understanding regarding what would be best for the villagers.

That would make a decent happy ending.

Selenia believes that we could also make them siblings who had parted ways previously, what do you think?

Siblings...Or maybe childhood friends? And the hero went off to find adventure while the werewolf stayed behind to protect the village.

Or perhaps both left the village when they were young to find a way of better protecting it?

And they found vastly different ways of going about it. One was willing to become a werewolf to keep it safe, while the other strove to be a hero.

Just the ending. The beginning should be handled by another team.

So then, does our end have to match with their beginning?

They'll be using the same words as us, but we can't tell what they'll be writing.

In that case, we can just do whatever we want and hope they match up.

That's the idea.

What do you think about them being childhood friends? It seems to me that if they were siblings, the hero would have known their sibling was a werewolf...
