She is young, even by human standards. By immortal standards she’s a newborn, but without anyone to teach control or finesse. She says she was afraid of people. She was almost certainly afraid of herself, and in her carelessness caused a catastrophe. She gathered together with others like her. They most likely had the same failings as she did, but found common purpose in protecting mortals. This is an unexplained transition from her earlier state of being ‘scared of people.’ At some point the organization altered its ambitions and shed corporeal form to rectify their earlier mistakes. She is too much a child to do any of that without guidance.

They seemed like a bunch of serious people who weren't exactly happy with what happened. Still, they were nice enough to cook for both teams, and a lot of them were friendly enough to introduce themselves. They might not have smiled a lot, but I can't say they weren't nice overall.

Yes, a few. Some of them were sad, some of them were simple, but they were all things I do not think I would want to share. They trusted me enough to tell me these things, and I want to keep that trust. I would be alright with sharing something of mine with you, but I'd rather do it in person than on paper.

I did, and it's kind of surprising. I don't really think much about the past of others because a lot of people I've met seem to focus on Aather (and of course, memories are missing so it's probably harder to discuss that sort of thing). I'm sad to know that sometimes, it's extremely painful, but I also got to see how strong people can be. I hope I can be like that someday.

It was really ... difficult I suppose. I mean, it isn't Carnelian's fault for that but I've realized just how hard it can be to have to live with a larger group of people. It isn't something that I'm really used to here or even back at home. Still . . .

It wasn't a terrible time for me. I was able to learn a little bit more about people and the other teams to see how they work. There are different ways to show kindness, and I think they tried their best to show that despite being forced to live with another team they didn't know very well and also losing a new member during the game.

I also learned a lot about myself. And . . . I was able to speak about painful things to a few of the other people on Carnelian. It was not very easy, but being more honest is something that I want to do. In that sense, I do not regret what happened in this game.

It was good to stay with my Brother, without having to lose Turquoise. That's been something I've wanted a long time.

... I talked a lot with Turquoise, mostly. Switching things up for us seemed to make us view each other afresh.

Cyclone returning in the middle wasn't insignificant either. Especially as it meant Tempest left. That rather flavors a game like this. I don't know if we can weigh or discuss it like a normal game.

Eh... at first I thought it would be really good, because Ven and Emil and Gust's brother are on that team, so I guess I was picturing Peridot as really sweet. It turns out I didn't know anything at all about the rest of Peridot though, and some of them didn't exactly make the best first impression. Though, ah... maybe we didn't either. By the end, though, I think it went okay. We all mostly got along and nothing disastrous happened... even though both our teams lost someone and got a new member.

Turquoise is-- protective. We don't always agree, and we definitely suck at taking things seriously sometimes, but when it comes down to it I think we'd all look out for our best interests. I would say we're also very friendly, but not necessarily outgoing-- I mean, some of us are outgoing! Some us really aren't, but are very sweet if you know how to look for it.

Ven told me he can travel between worlds -- like the way we were all brought to Aather from somewhere else -- and that once he ended up only a few inches high, helping mice and fighting cats. I'm not sure what to think about that.

Also, I'm not sure if it was a secret or not, but Beatrice apparently had a collar that could turn boys into girls. I know it's possible to transform yourself with a henge-- but I've never heard of being able to do it to other people...

Er, right. And I learned that Lucifer is-- was apparently the king of all evil. I'm actually kind of glad I didn't meet him. I'm not sure I believe that, since that's a weird thing for just one person to be, but even if he just gives off that impression, he can't have been very nice, right?

--Cassie's Tragic-er past

...Well, I learned that Ven went to an academy where they taught him how to save worlds, so good job, whatever Personae picked him. He's apparently perfect for this.

I also learned that Cassie was raised by a man who might be her father, or who might have just purchased her when she was a baby. He raised her to be an assassin and didn't even teach her how to speak. She didn't learn until she was around the age she is now. Isn't that the worst? I hope he isn't her real father, if only because I can't imagine doing that to your child. She's really kind, despite all that. I think his plan kind of backfired-- she can read people really well, because she didn't learn to communicate with words, and the first time she killed some one she could tell exactly how scared they were... so she doesn't do it anymore. I'm... pretty impressed by that, actually. That's a lot of empathy.

It wasn't from Peridot, but from Gust I learned that he and his brother and sister are apparently all war orphans who were separated when they were small. Isn't it wonderful that they've all managed to find each other again?

Well, I Saturday was when I shared secrets with Ven, so I learned that. Aside from his secret, I learned that he's a really good person; he's willing to fight for this world, or maybe any world, just for its own sake-- not even because of whichever people are there. 'A world is so much more than the people', huh...?

This isn't something I didn't know before, I think, but I also learned that Mithos and Lloyd really are so kind. They were a good choice, for Knights.

I learned that she's new and has already been taken by a Persona, and I learned that she's a medic, like me. She seemed surprised that I could both fight and heal, though... what good is a medic that can't keep herself out of danger?

It was... okay? It got a little stressful to have to share space like that, and I was worried about Echo because she seemed to take it harder than anyone else... and of course we had to deal with our new, er-- our returning member, so that made everything weird...

But to be honest, I think it was a good experience over all. I went to visit a lot of the teams, and it seems like everyone was trying their best to all get along and have a good time together. We don't get very many opportunities to all interact like that, so I think it was a good thing to try. It's a team building exercise, not only for the two teams involved, but for everyone.

Being put with another team also made me more aware of my own. I had some really interesting conversations with my team members, in ways or about things I hadn't before.

I think during a game where we're really aware of our living space and our time spent together is a terrible time to lose someone. And I think it was probably even more confusing for the people who just arrived. The poor new Peridot girl probably has no idea what to think...
