A siren goes off, the sound echoing in your ears for several minutes as the world goes completely black and empty.

You’re not falling but you’re not really standing on anything either, and all that you can perceive is the sirens still blaring, loud loud loud in your ears--

There’s an explosion so huge you don’t see or hear it so much as feel it through to your very bones. You feel an impact, strange and unsettling, and you think you might be dead? Because you can’t feel your body anymore.

Slowly the sound begins to fade and light and feeling returns, allowing you to see where you are.

You're standing in an open field, on the outskirts of a village. In the distance, you can see a dark forest, and beyond that, looming above rocky hills shrouded in mist, the twisting spires of a black, evil-looking castle.
