[TUTORIAL: Using Your PHS
This is ShinRa's standard-issue PHS – don't look so worried about it if you aren't used to using one, they're pretty easy. For now you'll only need to access the MISSIONS menu, so go ahead and flip it open.
See that center button? That's the SELECT button. Surrounding that are a four arrow buttons, which you can use to move through the menus, but really, you won't be using those too often.
The MENU button is labeled as such, so you can't miss it. Go ahead and press it.
See that? That's your MENU. You can access a number of things from here, such as your inventory and your Materia, but you won't be needing to. Use the down arrow and press it until you highlight MISSIONS, then hit the SELECT button.
There – see how it's displaying your Mission Location? All you have to do is hit SELECT again, and it'll ask if you want to quit. Use the arrow to highlight YES and hit SELECT again.
Pretty simple, right? I told you so. Maybe once you get the hang of that I'll show you the other options, but we'll save that for later. You better get going.
