Wako's Heart
You are standing in the middle of the main street of a sizable downtown area.
The early morning sun hangs low in the east. The air is salty and fresh – and oh man is your nose sharp! You can smell the people who came in here with you from yards away! Other stuff smells that strong, too! There is a spring breeze in the air. How do you know it’s spring? You just do. It’s the vibe here. Tropical trees and flowers grow in window boxes and small gardens. There are fairly standard shops (a movie theater! A book store! Small clothing boutiques! And so on), with trucks, cars, and bicycles parked at the curbs. There are no people or animals in sight, but there’s birdsong hanging in the air. It seems to be coming in every direction.
Oh. And you’re dressed like stripper clowns.

Re: SOUTHERN CROSS HIGH (SECOND STAGE)
It’s a production on this stage. The red-headed boy from earlier is dressed like some sort of Victorian orphan, while a new brunette is dressed like god only knows. The brunette starts telling the red-head (character name: Mark!) about the blonde girl he’s seen, which is Wako with a long wig. The story she tells is acted out on the stage…
(Just for you, Hikaru, I’ll note that the boy sounds like Tamaki and the girl sounds like Haruhi.)
You see, once there was a beautiful girl who no one could see (who was long-hair Wako). Her name was Kleis. One day, a young man named Columner with a brilliant aura was able to see her, though he could not touch her. He was content to have a girlfriend he couldn’t touch and no one else could see, until a witch named Ayin (some girl with short hair) calls to him and shows him a strand of Kleis’s golden hair wrapped around her fingers. She explains that her magical eyes allow her to see Kleis, and her “Night Gem” allows her to make physical contact. She offers the Night Gem to Columner on the condition that he successfully sail the ship in harbor to the north.
Columner successfully flies the ship. It is a magical flying ship, and he incurs the wrath of the Queen of the Fish Planet (another girl in a crazy costume), who has made it taboo for anyone to be higher than herself. Columner takes over the throne as king and becomes taken in by the ship’s power. When the witch Ayin comes to take the ship, he uses its magic to counter hers and kill her. His life becomes tied to the ship, and he’s immortal. He locks himself away in the former queen’s tower for a life of solitude.
And that takes us to Mark and the girl dressed like a crazy Statue of Liberty. The girl, a herald of a member of the galactic race “Entropeople,” informs Mark that her people do not use magic and are powerless to destroy or prohibit the use of the ship that Columner left in the world. Mark, she thinks, could sail the ship, since he has Columner’s radiance and can see Kleis. She only prays that he won’t follow Columner’s path.
He says he won’t. He kisses Kleis.
The memory ends. (So the story of life goes on.)
But then, standing in front of you, is the girl with the Statue of Liberty hairpiece. She asks: "Can you follow two dreams at once? What frightens you?"
Re: SOUTHERN CROSS HIGH (SECOND STAGE)
[He had to pause for a moment because he really wasn't expecting to be asked questions suddenly like that.
And also because her outfit is also kind of ridiculous.]
Can you follow two dreams? ...well, I don't really know but I don't see why you can't. You should at least try.
[hesitates before continuing]
When I think about it, I guess I have two dreams, too, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to keep them both. I guess it scares me that I might have to give up on one to keep the other. They are both very important to me and I don't want to give it up.
Re: SOUTHERN CROSS HIGH (SECOND STAGE)
You're in a dome world. Wako and Sugata are floating in bubbles. Takuto is on the ground. There’s a large glowing sphere at the heart of one of the three blue-filled spinning gold clockwork pieces. Slowly, it starts to descend. Inside it is a pale robot – it is skinny and curvy and obviously a chick robot. Somehow. At the same time, a white and blue robot that looks eerily like Takuto’s Tauburn is rising on a rotating spire to meet the descending chickbot, a blazing white sword in its hands. The chickbot shoots a few energy bolts, but the sword-carrying bot avoids them easily, slices through the pink bubble barrier, and chops the chickbot in half. A girl screams and falls out of where the chickbot used to be.
Above, that clockwork circle stops moving and the sign inside it turns red. The whole arrangement of circles shifts into the diamond formation from the previous memory.
Wako: Zero Time itself is screaming.
Takuto sprints and catches the teenage girl who’s fallen out of the destroyed chickbot. Nearby, a guy in a kinky clown costume and mask is giving a speech: “My brothers! With my Star Sword, I have broken the West Maiden’s seal, and led the Glittering Crux to the third phase. Furthermore, on this fated day, I will destroy Tauburn. Apprivoise!”He turns into a streak of light that lands in the sphere at the center of the white and blue robot. The memory ends.
But then the world turns gray. There's a blue light somewhere around your chest. Everything turns blindingly white, and when you can see again, you're here. ]
