Wako's Heart
You are standing in the middle of the main street of a sizable downtown area.
The early morning sun hangs low in the east. The air is salty and fresh – and oh man is your nose sharp! You can smell the people who came in here with you from yards away! Other stuff smells that strong, too! There is a spring breeze in the air. How do you know it’s spring? You just do. It’s the vibe here. Tropical trees and flowers grow in window boxes and small gardens. There are fairly standard shops (a movie theater! A book store! Small clothing boutiques! And so on), with trucks, cars, and bicycles parked at the curbs. There are no people or animals in sight, but there’s birdsong hanging in the air. It seems to be coming in every direction.
Oh. And you’re dressed like stripper clowns.

...also I don't have any idea why this would be important enough to examine, clearly the interesting things are further in]
I can see she maintains this place well.
[can I just. Climb over it, while Naruto examines?]

Re: PORT (SECOND STAGE)
It is a dark and stormy night – like, edge of a hurricane dark and stormy. Little Wako – about eight years old – is with a blue-haired boy about the same age. The totem pole is toppling over in the muddy ground, but they’re struggling to stand it straight again. They’re failing. Hard.
As it starts to fall on them, the boy pushes Wako out of the way. He gets crushed under the totem pole.
Wako screams, and something on her chest lights up pink – a mark in the shape of a Y. The next instant, the boy is floating off the ground in a pink bubble. Wako faints. The memory ends. ]

Wako... You're...
[examines the totem one more time to see if there's anything else to be noted here! also, touches the paint]

goes to check out the camera on the tripod: is it removable, how heavy is it mostly, but since he's looking at it he's examining the rest of it too]
Re: PORT (SECOND STAGE)
Wako is sitting at the edge of a pier singing, with the blue-haired boy standing behind her. As she finishes singing, a small cluster of people gather around her. They tell her that they’re doing a photoshoot on the island, but that her voice is amazing and they want to sign her for a contract in Tokyo.
In this memory, you can feel two things: excitement, and the sure, sad knowledge that she can’t do it. She tells them she’s very sorry, but she has obligations on this island.
The memory shifts. Out with the boy again, this time downtown, the same group of people repeat the offer. She has to turn them down.
The memory shifts. Alone in a bedroom, Wako reads a letter repeating the offer. She starts to write a letter explaining that she’s honored but can’t.
The memory ends. ]

and then touches it it again, seeing if that activates the memory again]
