AMETHYST

[You enter a plain white room that has a TRAGEDY mask hanging on the far wall. There is a table with three boxes: one red, one black, and one gold.]

You'll need to pick one of these. Which one will it be ... ?

We need to get the rope over a branch somehow. Can we throw it when we are like this?

Oh. That's better.

[let's try throwing the rope. IDK IF ACTUALLY CAN]

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] featherfetch 2011-08-24 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
Ah... I thought that's what you meant. And then we could all pull and catch the tiger in the net off the ground. The branch would be like a pulley so the weight should not be a problem.
yourpeacock: (narukami)

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] yourpeacock 2011-08-24 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
But can we catch both like this?

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] featherfetch 2011-08-24 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Ah... we could try tying the nets together to catch both at once... or we could think of a way to catch the second tiger when it is distracted by what happens to the first.
yourpeacock: (twilight)

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] yourpeacock 2011-08-24 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
We can have one net on the ground and the other on top. After we catch the first tiger we can let go of the other net and maybe it'll fall on the second one... it'd be easier if we weight the second net with rocks, maybe.

I will lure them into the traps. We can't do it with the toy rabbit.

No, you have more trouble weighing distances than the rest of us. You'd be in more danger.

[...see this is why I didn't want to tell you!!]

It... it's not that bad. I can avoid a tiger.

[I'M GLAD YOU DID BECAUSE NOW I CAN MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS]

And you know how the trap works better than the rest of us. If anyone agrees to be bait, it'll be Night.

So we'll need to split up, with someone on both sides. One group pulling up and the other triggering the net to fall.

Yes. They want live bait, I told Pascal you'd be the only one allowed to be the bait if that's what you wanted.
stigmateyes: (might as well)

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2011-08-24 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
Ahhh, I don't think they need live bait. Just some reason to believe something injured is here. If there's blood on the rabbit and nearby, it might be enough.

Maybe if we stack some of the stones, we can jump.

A fake rabbit will not be very good bait, so I will lure them onto the net.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2011-08-24 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Bad idea. If it smells like a rabbit, it'll work.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] featherfetch 2011-08-24 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think so. It won't be moving, for one thing. And we do not know which direction the tigers will come from, so we can't know where to position it. We can't put it right in the trap, either, because they will know it's not real when they come close enough and will likely not enter it.
pretender: (what even is that thing)

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] pretender 2011-08-24 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
Um ... I can wait in the trap, if we need it.

Re: DISCUSSION

In the trap is far too dangerous, you would be caught with the tiger.

Normally I can jump a lot farther than anyone else I know, so if we do need someone to bait it in any way I'd probably be best for it ...

The smell will confuse them enough if we all rub our fur against it. We could also use some blood to mark a trail if one of us stays under ground the rest of the time.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] featherfetch 2011-08-24 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
That doesn't solve the biggest problem of how we won't be able to move it. We do not know where they will come from, remember.
stigmateyes: (in serious need of a nap)

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2011-08-24 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
It doesn't matter. They'll have to be in around the tree to find the source of the scent. They'll come to us from whatever direction. As long as the net's spread across the ground, it doesn't matter where we pull from, especially if we're going to use a second system for the other net.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] featherfetch 2011-08-24 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
We need them to step exactly on the net. How else can we lure them to that position?
