❧ what do I do?
You head into the hedge maze. Immediately after everyone has crossed the stone, the leaves rustle loudly, and the hedges spring to life behind you, swiftly blocking the way back. Your only option is to proceed forward.
The pathway turns slightly up ahead, then turns again, twisting and winding deeper into the garden, before eventually opening up into a small clearing.

"Welcome," says the knight, with a voice that echoes faintly, empty and metallic. "Tell me, why did you choose to come this way . . .?"

Because honesty seemed mildly important and I know the answer to the other two questions.

The same thing here; we have some knowledge in Aather, compiled, but it's less than the sum of its parts. Every time I look in the library, or write up a new set of notes, or participate in a Persona's game -- especially when it takes a tone like this -- I have more questions about what to do, what can be done. Context means a lot and it's often missing, so even the people who have been here for a year or more still run on theories and hope.
Are you uncertain, as well?

estelle
Eventually the path opens up again into another clearing. Standing in a circle are statues, frozen in exaggerated poses, hands outstretched. Their faces are familiar … you can recognize Rita, Fell, Obsidian . . .

"You don't belong here."
"You'll never see Rewind again."
"You're useless."
Re: tumbler
And exactly what is this supposed to prove?
Re: tumbler
There is a girl in the centre of the clearing, curled up with her hands over her ears. Her colors are faded out and monochromatic, like she's stepped out of a black-and-white picture. Her dress used to be something beautiful and elegant, but the sleeves are ripped now, and words are scribbled on her skin in an ashy scrawl. Witch. Outcast. Untrustworthy. Bastard child. Ill omen.
Re: tumbler
[but sighs and approaches the girl.]
Uh…
