Game 51 - Group #5

[ You're inside a dome :|b The walls are high and gently sloped -- the whole room must be twenty feet in diameter. In the middle of the room are a set of scales -- they are uneven. Three pebbles are on one side and nine on the other. There are three doors on the wall opposite you (past the scales). Each door is made of dark wood and has gold lettering.]

[it's doable! but it'll give you a scratch with long, thin nails before you do.]

[w-well, ouch. hopefully they weren't poisonous. stands up]

is there anything but the brook itself around here?]

[there's a path that leads to the lake!

And the cut you've acquired are three long scratches that bleed lightly. And the longer you have it, the more irrationally jealous you're going to feel . . . ]

[...turns to look back at Misato, then walks down that path]

[It's a golden lake! Full of golden water :O! On the shoreline there are toys.]

[touches the golden water]

[it's just water, despite the colour.]

[is the bottom of the lake too far down to be reached?]

[depends! you can touch it at the shoreline, sure, but it's just silt. Are you going to wade in ... ?]

[...not just yet. let's examine those toys first]

[the rocking horse has run off . . . but there's a brightly coloured box! and some dolls.]

[what kind of dolls?]

[pretty little girl dolls! with long eyelashes and fluffy hairrr.]

[lifts one of them, to see if it looks normal up close or what]

[the closer you get to it, the angrier it looks . . . but maybe it's a trick of the light . . .]

[...huh. what if I lift this one instead?]

[this one gets sadder and sadder . . . ]

[oh. there's three of them? lifts another one]

[this one gets happier and happier . . . neurotically happy . . .]

[takes all three of them and tries to pose them holding their hands, with the happy one in the middle]

[. . . all of them look happy! there's a soft laugh, as their hands grasp onto each other.]
