Paper walls rise up around your team's table now, and a quill pen appears upon it, along with a well full of ink in a swirl of vivid Carnelian and Heliodor colors. Finely-lettered words shift and scroll in silvery-black ink across their surface, and even if you cannot read or write normally, the ability comes to you for the duration of this game.

Fish soup, finger sandwich, steak, and peach pie?

I was thinking that, since we can't use the words 'steak' or 'sandwich' that we combine them into something similar--a meat bun.

The peaches could be in a parfait, too.

I'm not familiar with those, but it's a good idea. Or meat pie, but pie might not be considered a sandwich by any means.

Or a mousse?

I kind of like the sound of peach mousse.

I wonder if we can find anything like that to eat anywhere around here.

We're sorely overdue for some fancy sweets.

So how about that story?

"Once upon a time, there was a chef. He had a big dinner to make for the night - something special, because otherwise he'd lose his restaurant or something, so everyting was riding on that. He slaved over papers, writing out recipes, crossing them out, shaking his head, writing down more... and none actually seemed to REALLY work for him.

Until he wrote down this: meatbuns, peach mousse, and fish soup.

It seemed good enough for him, and he spent the remaining time before the dinner slaving over the stove and oven, making sure everything was perfect...

And then he managed to do it.

He got to keep his restaurant in the end, and he managed to start turning things around after that."

It's not the best, but it's something.
