AMETHYST

[You're in an oval, almost egg-shaped room, with a high dome and clear walls that allow you to see the other team's rooms, although you can't hear them. In the middle of the room is a table, with some of the items from the Ring scattered about. An ornate book lays there as well, open to the first page:]

"There were formerly a king and a queen, who were so sorry that they had no children; so sorry that it cannot be expressed. They went to all the waters in the world; vows, pilgrimages, all ways were tried, and all to no purpose.

At last, however, the Queen had a daughter. There was a very fine christening; and the Princess had for her god-mothers all the fairies they could find in the whole kingdom (they found seven), that every one of them might give her a gift, as was the custom of fairies in those days. By this means the Princess had all the perfections imaginable."

The Princess is already wonderful, isn't she? What more could you want in a princess?

Really?

Ah.

If we give her the key then on theory she'll have knights to protect her, so we can focus on things other than weapons.
stigmateyes: (so you say)

That's a good point. Free movement seems important too.

It's one item per list so we can give her all the ones that cost 2. Unless we want to save points for the next round.

Is there a point to saving them?

I don't know. Probably not.

It keeps things consistent.

Mmh, I'm trying to think of an alternative— the heavy book wouldn't be very useful as a weapon, and assuming she has Sterling knights she shouldn't be needing a weapon anyway.

But do we want a princess that relies on Sterling?
stigmateyes: (bring it)

I don't think she relies just a on Sterling. The items in the 2 section are more middle ground. It's a combination of elements, I think. Instead of going out to do everything by herself, she works with others.

Then we could give her the light armor, tough boots, spindle, and sterling key. No one would expect her to stab someone with the spindle.
