The small cabin is no longer empty; instead, it's full of simple wooden chairs and a few tables. One table is stacked with baskets of ripe fruit; as for the others...

On one, scrolls bearing messages appear out of nowhere. On the other rests a single scroll and a quill pen to write on it. The top of the scroll reads, "Tell me what you believe in." The rest is empty space, waiting to be written on.

Improvise, I suppose... tea seemed acceptable to Nimue, after one of her unpleasant games. Ms. Baker, as well. It wasn't quite the same situation, but you could say that that was our challenge to them.

[pauses, collecting her thoughts]

We were... very irritated about being asked to prove our beliefs in the Ring, when our team's strength at the time generally lay away from making dramatic, risky gestures there, or even obvious gestures at all...
