The small cabin is no longer empty; instead, it's full of simple wooden chairs and a few tables. One table is stacked with baskets of ripe fruit; as for the others...

On one, scrolls bearing messages appear out of nowhere. On the other rests a single scroll and a quill pen to write on it. The top of the scroll reads, "Tell me what you believe in." The rest is empty space, waiting to be written on.

Back home, if you were strong enough to consistently win at cardfighting, then that also meant you were strong enough to stand with your friends.

A good cardfighter is patient and persistent, never stepping down from a fight until its over. Even if you're opponent has a significant lead on you, if you keep your eyes on your opponent and make sure not to lose your head, you can turn a hopeless situation into a victory.

If you have he kind of strength where you're able to bring yourself to your goal no matter what, then you have the sort of strength to pull your own friends along with you if they're behind...or to catch up to them if they're ahead.

Lilypad and I talked it over and talked about 'the top'. To me, I thought that was having the strength to climb up to the top with your friends but Lilypad said he liked where he was, with Peridot, his friend Yuki, along with every other friend he has here. He said he thought about going home to his planet, but he doesn't want to leave what he has.

And so we agreed. Peridot believes that if you're with people that you want to be with forever, then you're already at the top, because there's no place higher than that.
